One of the most intriguing aspects of Windows 11, when it was first announced, is the potential of operating and installing Android applications natively. It was not possible to accomplish this at the time of release however, it became available fairly quickly.
How do they work? In essence, it’s due to the cooperation between Microsoft with Amazon. The Android applications you are able to download on Windows 11 are supplied through Amazon’s app store. However, there are not a lot of options and you don’t have all the apps from the Play Store at your disposal. 5. Once your PC is restarted, Amazon Appstore should open automatically. If not, you can open it manually by clicking on the start menu. After opening, sign in using your Amazon account information or create an Amazon account if you don’t already have one.
6. Then you’ll be presented with an (admittedly tiny) list of apps available as well as the ability to browse the library with the search bar that appears at the top. After you’ve located an app that you’d like to download, select Get under the tile of the app and then select the Download button.
7. After your app has been installed, you can access it by clicking the Open button beneath its listing in the Amazon Appstore, or by finding it on the start menu.
